The issue of irregular accessibility of the internet by UK children was highlighted by the new research conducted by the National Farmers' Union and the Learning Foundation.

According to the Learning Foundation an estimate of one million UK children could be unable to secure regular internet connection hence are expected to present lower grades in their exams as compared to those with better connection. NFU accentuated this finding by revealing a 25% increase in the grades of students with regular internet access.

Irrespective of the various reasons why some students have little or no internet access, the world at large keep advancing in technology hence the need to make such facilities available to students both at home and in school- a neccessity for their future career building.
